Terms and Conditions for The Pilates Haus

Effective Date: February 6, 2023

These Terms and Conditions ("Agreement") govern your participation in Reformer Pilates classes, workshops, and other services ("Services") offered by The Pilates Haus ("Studio," "we," "us," or "our"). By booking, attending, or participating in any of our Services, you ("Client," "you," or "your") agree to abide by the following terms.

1. General Information

1.1 Studio Address:

1.2 Class Schedule and Availability:
Classes and schedules are subject to change. We will do our best to notify clients of any significant changes in advance. You can always check the latest schedule on our website or app.

2. Eligibility and Participation

2.1 Health Requirements:
By participating in our Services, you confirm that you are in good physical health and able to engage in Reformer Pilates activities. If you have any medical conditions or injuries, it is your responsibility to consult with your doctor before starting any Pilates program.

2.2 Age Requirement:
You must be at least 16 years of age to participate in Reformer Pilates classes. For clients under the age of 18, parental consent is required.

2.3 Assumption of Risk:
Pilates involves physical exercise and, as with any physical activity, carries a risk of injury. By participating, you acknowledge and accept these risks. You agree to release The Pilates Haus and its staff from any liability for injuries that may occur during or after participation.

3. Class Booking and Cancellation Policy

3.1 Booking Classes:
Classes can be booked through our website, app, or in person at the Studio. All bookings are subject to availability.

3.2 Cancellation Policy:
We require a minimum of 12 hours notice for any cancellations or rescheduling. Cancellations made within 12 hours of the class start time and/or failure to attend without notice will incur a cancellation fee of $10 if you are on the Monthly Day Pass autopay or a class credit if scheduling by single class, class packages or any of the other auto pay options. 

3.3 Waitlists:
If a class is full, you may join a waitlist. If a spot becomes available, you will be notified and given the opportunity to attend the class. If you are unable to attend after being notified, our regular cancellation policy applies.

4. Memberships and Payment

4.1 Pricing:
The current pricing for our Services is listed on our website and app. Prices may be subject to change. You will be notified of any price changes in advance.

4.2 Membership and Package Terms:
Memberships and class packages are non-transferable and non-refundable. Memberships are billed monthly and will automatically renew unless you cancel prior to the next billing cycle.

4.3 Late Payments:
If you fail to pay for Services on time, we may suspend or terminate your access to classes until payment is received. Additional late fees may apply.

5. Studio Etiquette and Behavior

5.1 Punctuality:
Please arrive at least 5 minutes before your class. If you arrive after the class has started, you may be denied entry to ensure the safety and comfort of all participants.

5.2 Attire:
For safety and comfort, we recommend wearing form-fitting athletic clothing and grip socks during Reformer Pilates classes. Please avoid wearing jewelry or loose clothing that may interfere with your movements.

5.3 Personal Belongings:
We are not responsible for lost or stolen personal items. Please leave valuables at home.

5.4 Conduct:
We expect all clients to treat the Studio, its instructors, its staff, and fellow participants with respect. Disruptive or inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated and may result in removal from class or termination of membership.

6. Studio Equipment and Liability

6.1 Use of Equipment:
All equipment provided by the Studio is to be used according to the instructions given by the instructor. Clients must ensure they use the equipment safely to avoid injury.

6.2 Liability Waiver:
By attending classes at The Pilates Haus you agree to hold The Pilates Haus harmless from any and all claims, damages, or losses resulting from participation in any activities at the Studio, including injuries, whether caused by negligence or otherwise.

6.3 Injury or Illness:
If you experience any injury, discomfort, or illness before, during, or after a class, please inform your instructor immediately. It is your responsibility to discontinue any movements that cause discomfort and to notify us of any pre-existing injuries or conditions.

7. Photography and Media Release

7.1 Photography and Recording:
By attending classes, you acknowledge that the Studio may take photographs or videos for promotional purposes. You give permission for your image to be used in marketing materials, on our website, or in social media content, unless you explicitly request to opt out.

8. Privacy and Data Protection

8.1 Personal Data:
We collect personal information, such as your name, contact details, and medical history, to provide you with the best possible service. We will treat your personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which is available on our website.

9. Changes to Terms and Conditions

9.1 Modifications:
We reserve the right to modify or update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be communicated via our website or email, and will be effective immediately upon posting. By continuing to use our Services, you agree to the updated Terms and Conditions.

10. Governing Law

10.1 Jurisdiction:
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of the State of Florida.

By booking or attending a class at The Pilates Haus, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and Conditions.
